All work I had before me is now complete.

Praise God.

Now I can get back into the whole wedding/photo ideas thing.

with that said, i would like to thank Kate for spending hours with me, trying to make sure

i had SOMEthing to turn in. Kate, you are the best. i would also like to propose the idea of

changing the name of dreamweaver to dreamcrusher OR nightmareweaver. you pick.

now, on to this paper.

The Gambler

it has been a minute since i posted anything.

2500 word essay to write in two days, and finishing my website by tomorrow is what has been

eating my time up.

i really don't like writing when i'm so restricted on content. if you are going to be so restrictive,

the least you can do is give my thesis so i don't waist so many hours of my life for just a D because i didn't understand what you REALLY wanted. 'pick one or all of the 3 books we read in class, and you can't do any type of comparison, book report, or biography.'

wait. what?

so pretty much you want me to ramble, make something absurd and obscure sound smart, and then i'll pass? and this teaches me what exactly?!

think vacation.

think warm. sunshine. brown skin. unkempt ocean hair.

think wedding.

think party. rustic. vintage. memorable moments captured.

just a few more days. and then its all about those things.

Smells Like Teen Spirit...

I'm full of angst lately.

Being stuck doing website building is killing me.

However, it's boosting all my creative juices - I'm ready to squeeze some of my visions

into reality. It'd be so much easier if I had a team of people to collaborate with - bounce ideas off of. One day I suppose!

Here is a picture I took 2 years ago. I wanted to see what it'd look like with my current photoshop skills, since I didn't have many back then. Must say, revamped = one of my new favs.

Sushi!

So a few days back I was feeling inspired to create something new.

Sushi, I decided.

I've always wanted to make it, and I LOVE it.

So the fiancé and I gathered all the ingredients and slaved away.

Tuna, mango, cream cheese, and cucumber.

Although they didn't turn out as pretty as I had wanted,

they were extremely tasty.

I can't wait to make more!

Top 5 things I will do this month.

1. Start my "Wreck this Journal." I received this journal for christmas, and every page has an instruction on ways to destruct that page. It's supposed to help bring out a sense of freedom and creativity - and I'm excited to start the demolition!

2. Buy a roll of film for every week, and carry my Twin Lens Reflex Holga everywhere I go. Another way to try and get my creative juices flowing again.

3. Make my photography website the best I possibly can. It's hard for me to crack down with school, I get so distracted with the life that's happening around me. But i'm determined to make something unique and wonderful so I can share my photography with everyone!

4. Make a resumè and start applying for internships religiously. I need a direction, and something to look forward to.

5. Find my wedding dress. A task that I know will prove to be harder than I think.
